Kevin Leach

Kevin Leach

As Group CCO and Sales and Commercial Director of Briggs of Burton, Kevin is responsible for all Sales and Marketing activities at Briggs of Burton and overseeing the wider group of companies including Ziemann Holvrieka and DME Process Systems. Kevin is heavily involved in promoting inter-company projects across all sister companies. 

During his career, he has held several management positions, most recently in his previous role as Executive Vice President where he managed the Briggs Inc. office in Rochester, NY. His tenure at Briggs Inc. saw a huge growth in business operations and has resulted in large capital projects in North America across the Brewing and Distilling industries. 

Over the last 25 years, Kevin has worked internationally on major projects from conceptual design through to handover with Miller Coors Shenandoah Brewery, Diageo Mexico’s Tequila facility expansion, Beam Suntory’s Bourbon Whiskey expansion in Kentucky, South African Breweries and CUB in Australia and many more.

Nathan Beddoe

Nathan Beddoe

As Finance Director, Nathan has overall P&L responsibility for all Finance and IT activities across the Briggs of Burton Group. Prior to joining Briggs of Burton, Nathan has significant international experience working for major blue chip companies including General Electric, Orica, Diageo and L’Oréal. 

His core expertise focussed on controllership and compliance. A highly qualified Chartered accountant, Nathan has experience in change management, system implementations, corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting and technical accounting across a wide range of industries and regions. 

Most recently, Nathan steered the successful implementation of Rise with SAP at Briggs of Burton working with implementation partner Sapphire Systems and SAP to realise the project. The business transformation tool will help Briggs of Burton with their decision marking and planning, underpinning Briggs’ growth strategy to double revenue and grow their global footprint.

George Crombie

George Crombie

As Engineering Director, George has responsibility for all P&L responsibility for all engineering and automation activities within the Briggs of Burton Group, including leading the engineering and automation management teams for the Briggs Group. 

George has been successful in leading the delivery of our largest life sciences project to date in North Carolina with Fluor and instrumental with Briggs’ continued relationship with Diageo’s Global Engineering team. George has led several projects for Diageo notably their Malt Distilling Expansion projects in Scotland and Diageo Mexico’s new build Tequila distillery. His experience extends to the Brewing sector in North America and the UK working with Miller Coors and Heineken.  

George is a proactive leader, Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and is at the forefront of offering sustainable engineering solutions to our global customer network.

Robert Buxton

Robert Buxton

As Managing Director, Rob holds overall responsibility of all operations at Briggs of Burton Group across the UK, North America and China. In 2019, under Rob’s leadership Briggs of Burton successfully acquired a leading Scottish Coppersmith Manufacturer, McMillan in Prestonpans, Scotland. 

Rob plays a key role in collaborating with our sister companies Ziemann Holvrieka and DME Process Systems in order to provide successful commercial and technical solutions to clients’ capital projects in the hygienic liquid industries. 

Over the last 25 years, Rob has risen through the ranks and has managed and delivered both small and large projects within a variety of industries, specifically covering Brewing and Yeast Handling. Rob has led projects for blue chip clients such as AB Mauri in China and Miller Coors in the USA as well as managing a regional office in South Africa.
