Briggs of Burton and their Giusti brand have extensive experience in designing and building bespoke vessels for the pharmaceutical industry. Briggs of Burton’s mechanical engineering team help many of the major pharmaceutical companies to realise their process systems and vessels, which often require highly polished material finishes. Applications for these pharmaceutical vessels can range from simple storage tanks to high pressure, fully jacketed mixing vessels.

Briggs of Burton have recently supplied a number of storage and mixing tanks to one of the largest, family owned, veterinary pharmaceutical companies in the world. The pharmaceutical company was established in 1969, in Newry, Northern Ireland. Their portfolio of trusted animal health products is distributed in more than 100 countries and aim to be the first to market with generic veterinary pharmaceutical products.

Pharma Mixing System Equipment

  • Mixer vessels featuring a range of mixing solutions dependent on product viscosity and blending, emulsifying or solid suspension duties
  • All internal surfaces to be polished up to <0.25µm Ra (after electro-polishing) with welds ground smooth and polished to match the parent material.
