Briggs of Burton wins gold at the RoSPA Awards for the fourth consecutive year

Briggs of Burton win gold at The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) awards, which is now the fourth year in a row! Briggs were recognised for their team’s positive health and safety culture, the demonstration of robust occupational health and safety management systems, and outstanding control of risk with very low levels of error, harm, and loss. Health and Safety is at the heart of Briggs’ operations and the company is fully committed to continue encouraging health and safety across the business on every project they deliver.

John Blundell, Health, Safety and QA Manager (DipNEBOSH) spoke about Briggs’ achievement at our new Global Technical Centre in Burton on Trent “The RoSPA Gold award is recognition of the positive attitude to health and safety from all Briggs employees, contractors and customers. In particular, the manufacturing and construction staff who continue to show great commitment to ensuring all people on site return home safely. We will continue to develop our efforts in the future to safeguard all employees and keep them informed of good health and safety practices whilst at work.”
