COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) INFORMATION

A message from Robert Buxton, our Managing Director.

At this time of concern over COVID -19, Briggs of Burton would like to assure you on our commitment to working in the best interests of our customers, colleagues and suppliers.

These are unprecedented and challenging times affecting all areas of our societies, with the situation changing daily, meaning that individuals and organisations are having to regularly react and adapt their plans in order to help limit the spread of the virus.

While following the Government guidelines, we are pleased to confirm that the manufacturing operations at our Burton on Trent Office will continue to operate as planned and to the greatest extent possible. Our office based sales and engineering teams are working remotely from Wednesday 18th March, hopefully with minimum interruption to you. Whilst there will inevitably be some disruption to normal operations, our intention is “Business as Usual”. We will continue to work on your sales enquiries and current engineering and production projects. We are working diligently to discuss and communicate the potential impacts of these uncertain times with each of you to ensure we provide the service you know to expect from us. If you have any questions then please contact us through your regular contact, or to myself.

Overall everyone can agree that we, as a society, need to protect the health and well being of everyone, including our customers, suppliers, and staff. Our company thrives on the variety of engineering, production and turn key projects our customers require from us around the world, and we want to ensure that everyone can fulfil their obligations in as safe a way as possible. We will be posting updates as soon as we have them on our website (www.briggsplc.com) and company LinkedIN page (https://www.linkedin.com/company/briggs-of-burton-plc/).

On behalf of the Management Team, and everyone at Briggs, I would like to thank you for your support and understanding during and after these challenging times.

Robert Buxton
